W.L. Gore- West Route 66 Water Transmission Main

Description of Project: Installation of a new water main consisting of approximately 3,300 LF of 18” Ductile Iron Pipe, 1,300 LF of 12” Ductile Iron Pipe, 1,800 LF of 12” PVC, 240 LF of 8” Ductile Iron Pipe, large diameter tie ins, services, and hydrants. The project required substantial coordination as it crossed ADOT, Coconino County, City of Flagstaff and private right of ways.
Role of the Firm: General Contractor, 85% Self Preformed
Construction Costs: $1,097,744; Final Contract Amount $1,183,845. (We encountered rock on this project that exceeded the amount anticipated in the rock contingency bid item. This rock excavation over run caused the resulting increase in contract amount.)
Construction Dates: June 2014 to October 2014
